To setup the printer for Wi-Fi Direct printing in the Napa Spaces room on your laptop, please follow the following:
*Note about scanning: This printer cannot scan as Spaces does not allow connection of printers to their network. Please use the copy/scanning machines provided in Spaces to scan non-PHI documents. Also remember you can use
CamScanner on your iPhone to scan documents via your phone.
Adding the Napa Spaces printer
- On your laptop at the Spaces office, go to the
search bar and search for Printers & scanners
- Ensure you are connected to
the Internet
- Click Add device, and wait
for nearby devices to be found, there will be several. You may need to
click "Show W-Fi Direct" printers if none are shown

- Find the printer that has
"SSYAF" its name, as shown above, and click Add device
- The following box will now
show:

- Look on the actual printer
screen itself, it will show a unique number you'll need to enter in within
90 seconds to confirm you have access to the printer
- Once you have entered the
unique code, press next and the printer will be installed automatically.
If there is difficulty installing the driver, please contact the IT
Helpdesk for additional assistance as security settings can sometimes
interfere with printer driver installation.
