Fix iPhone contacts not syncing after MFA enforcement

If you have already done steps 1-5, please skip to step 6.

After Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is enforced for your Microsoft Account, you will find that after running the "Update iPhone staff contacts" program, your contacts on your iPhone do not update. This is because MFA breaks the way we used to sync contacts between Outlook and the iPhone.

To overcome this, follow the below instructions to fix the way your iPhone contacts sync with Outlook.

1. Open up your iPhone Settings and navigate to Contacts, then Accounts.

2. Click on the SSYAF account and turn off Contacts. (It will ask you to delete contacts from your iPhone, choose "Delete from my iPhone". This will only remove from your iPhone, contacts are still saved in Outlook)

3. Open your iPhone Settings and click on your name/iCloud account.

4. Click on iCloud to open up your iCloud settings
5. Scroll down to Contacts and turn them on. Once turned on exit out of settings.

6. Open the Outlook app. Once in the Outlook app, click on your picture or initials in the top left next to Inbox.

7. Click on the gear settings icon in the bottom left,
8. Under Mail Accounts, select your Office 365 account with your email address.

9. In your account you will see a Save Contacts option. Turn it on and a pop will appear to confirm saving contacts to the phone. Click Save to my iPhone and you are finished.

10. You can now see your contacts resynced in your contact list.

NOTE: Contacts you create in Outlook will continue to sync to your iPhone contacts, however, contacts you create on your iPhone will not sync back to Outlook (they will be saved in iCloud instead).
